Make your frets the best they can be. This process starts by measuring each individual fret to identify high and low spots. Then the entire fretboard is leveled so every fret is exactly the same height. Once leveled each fret is crowned, and polished using the full 6 stage hand polish treatment. The fretboard is then deep cleaned and oiled. If needed, the nut slot depths are also adjusted.
If you prefer to play with low string action, then a perfectly level fretboard is a must. Depending on the current condition of your guitar, the difference in playable is quite noticeable.
